ART at WORK works not with rational and "dry" arguments with people, but more with unusual playful methods designed to make them think, to develop their own ideas and then make informed choices. Importantly once the interactive communication is set into play, participants can experience the message through their own senses.

For this we have developed "Diana, the Droplet", as a happy drop of water, who must be cared for to remain healthy and alive. She can be observed moving through the simulated water system on the multi-media Water Wagon. From this it can be seen that Diana represents all droplets and therefore all water and that survival depends on conserving and preserving them.

One to one communication, a time proven method, leads to a higher level of concentration from the participants, and a lasting impression which can lead to long term changes in daily habits.

As a further visual and at the same time a tangible element is our 2m globe. It leaves lasting impressions, especially with children and youths. This elementary symbol triggers spontaneous ideas for the world-wide care of drinking water supplies. On the globe they can be made visible, discussed and finally solutions can be found then written or drawn on its surface.

In each school we will conduct an individually created workshop day with a group of 15 -25 pupils, whose core theme will be the understanding of and sensitising for the resource, water.
